YOUTH DAY is over!
The celebrations and charity drive went on smooth as silk (if you get what I
mean). The entire school raised a whopping $12,000 for the President's
Challenge, and of course, everybody had fun during the Odyssey of the Mind @
NYGH, Interclass competitions, fun fair and the Talentime, including our
invited guests from the Prefectorial Board of Huayi Secondary School.
Appreciation goes out especially to the Board of CCA Leaders (BAL) and
the Board of Monitresses (BOM) for helping to co-organize the event. Also to
the teachers who helped spice up the day by participating full-force in the
activities, and last but not the least bit the least, the student population
of NYGH! Thank you, and enjoy the long weekend!

- 24 July 2002, Wednesday :
The annual NATIONAL INTERSCHOOLS TRACK & FIELD
COMPETITIONS will be held in Choa Chu Kang Stadium instead of the
National Stadium this year. Not everyone will get a chance to attend this
event, so if you're going, do make the most of your presence and support our
athletes!

I don't need to tell you what this day is for you to know that it's
NATIONAL DAY! Oops I just did.. but whatever the case,
demonstrate your patriotic spirit by participating actively in the
activities prepared!
- 30 August 2002, Friday :
TEACHERS' DAY falls on this day. Do start thinking
about what you are going to do for your beloved teachers before it's too
late!
